Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will work with patients of all ages to help them improve their ability to perform daily tasks and activities. As an Occupational Therapist, you will create individualized treatment plans and provide therapy to help patients regain independence and improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Conduct assessments to evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities.
2. Develop personalized treatment plans based on patients' goals and needs.
3. Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients' motor skills, coordination, and range of motion.
4. Educate patients and their families on adaptive techniques and assistive devices to help with daily tasks.
5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for patients.
6. Document patient progress and update treatment plans as needed.
7. Stay current on best practices and research in the field of occupational therapy.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
2. State licensure to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Compassion and empathy for patients facing physical or cognitive challenges.
6. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
