Job Title: Radiation Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Radiation Therapist to join our team. The Radiation Therapist will be responsible for administering radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by the oncologist. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to operate complex radiation equipment, and provide compassionate care to patients undergoing treatment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients according to prescribed protocols
- Monitor and assess patient reactions to treatment and adjust as necessary
- Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, ensuring proper safety protocols are followed
- Maintain accurate records of treatment and patient progress
- Collaborate with oncologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or related field
- Certified Radiation Therapist (CRT) credential required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in radiation therapy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
