Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to help patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and improve overall quality of life.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients
- Instruct and guide patients in therapeutic exercises and activities
- Use specialized equipment to aid in patient rehabilitation
- Monitor and document patient progress
- Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree from an accredited physical therapy assistant program
- Current licensure or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitation techniques
- Physical stamina and strength to assist patients with mobility and exercises
