Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with patients to help them overcome physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges that interfere with their ability to perform daily tasks and activities. You will create individualized treatment plans to improve patients' quality of life and maximize their independence.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct assessments to determine patients' strengths and limitations
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic activities to improve fine motor skills, coordination, and sensory processing
- Help patients improve their ability to perform daily tasks such as dressing, cooking, and driving
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- State licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with patients of all ages and backgrounds
- Knowledge of medical terminology and treatment techniques
- Experience working in a healthcare setting is preferred
