Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team and help improve the quality of life for our patients. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with individuals of all ages who are struggling with physical, mental, or developmental challenges. Your primary goal will be to help these individuals develop the skills needed to perform everyday tasks and activities independently.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities
- Develop individual treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals
- Provide therapeutic activities to improve patients' motor skills, coordination, and strength
- Teach patients how to use adaptive equipment to aid in daily activities
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients
- Document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist
- CPR certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
