Job title: Speech Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified Speech Therapist to provide diagnostic assessment and treatment services to individuals with communication disorders. The Speech Therapist will work with clients of all ages to improve their speech, language, and swallowing abilities. This role requires excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech and language abilities
- Develop individualized treatment plans to address communication disorders
- Provide therapy sessions to improve speech production, language comprehension, and swallowing function
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for patients
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Educate clients and their families on strategies for improving communication skills
- Stay up-to-date on the latest research and best practices in speech therapy
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's degree in speech-language pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- State licensure to practice as a speech therapist
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse populations
- Experience working with individuals with a variety of communication disorders
- Knowledge of evidence-based treatment approaches for speech and language disorders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
