Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist our licensed physical therapists in providing quality care to patients. Duties include implementing treatment plans, educating patients on exercises and techniques, and monitoring progress.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans
2. Instruct and educate patients on proper exercise techniques and home exercises
3. Provide hands-on therapy to patients under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist
4. Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the therapist
5. Assist with administrative tasks such as documenting patient progress and scheduling appointments
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistance
2. Valid certification or licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
4. Ability to work well in a team environment
5. Attention to detail and organization skills
