Job Title: Physical Therapist
Job Summary: A Physical Therapist is responsible for helping patients recover from injuries and illnesses through physical rehabilitation exercises and treatments. They work with patients to develop personalized treatment plans to improve their mobility, reduce pain, and prevent further injury.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Evaluate patients to determine their physical condition, strength, and range of motion
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals
- Conduct physical therapy sessions to improve patients' strength, flexibility, and coordination
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients on at-home exercises and self-care techniques
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Qualifications and Skills:
- Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- State licensure as a Physical Therapist
- CPR certification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of the latest advances in physical therapy techniques
- Physical stamina and strength to assist patients with exercises
- Empathy and compassion for patients undergoing rehabilitation
