Job Title: Speech Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Therapist to provide assessment and therapy to patients with speech and language disorders. The Speech Therapist will work closely with patients to improve communication skills, articulation, fluency, and voice quality.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Conduct thorough assessments of patients' speech and language abilities.
2. Develop individualized therapy plans to address patients' communication challenges.
3. Administer therapy sessions to improve speech, language, and swallowing skills.
4. Monitor and track patients' progress throughout therapy.
5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients.
6. Educate patients and their families on strategies to improve communication outside of therapy sessions.
7. Stay current on research and best practices in the field of speech therapy.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
2. Valid state licensure as a Speech Therapist.
3. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work effectively with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
6. Patience and empathy in working with individuals with communication disorders.
7. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
