Job Summary:
A physical therapist is responsible for evaluating and providing treatment for patients with physical disabilities or injuries to help them improve movement, manage pain, and prevent further injury. Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Evaluate patients' medical history and physical condition
2. Develop treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs
3. Administer physical therapy treatments, including exercises, stretches, and manual therapy techniques
4. Monitor and track patient progress
5. Educate patients on proper techniques for at-home exercises and preventative measures
6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
7. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program
2. Valid state licensure to practice as a physical therapist
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
4. Ability to work effectively with patients of all ages
5. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology
6. Ability to assess and treat a variety of physical conditions
