Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team and help improve the quality of life for our patients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a strong understanding of the principles and practices of occupational therapy.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conducting patient evaluations to determine their physical and mental capabilities
- Developing personalized treatment plans to help patients improve their daily living skills
- Providing hands-on therapy to patients to help them achieve their treatment goals
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients
- Keeping detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans
- Educating patients and their families on how to continue therapy at home
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
- Valid state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
