Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team. The Occupational Therapist will work with clients to develop personalized treatment plans to help them improve and maintain their ability to perform daily activities. This role entails assessing clients' needs, creating treatment goals, and implementing interventions to enhance their overall quality of life.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate clients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on clients' goals and needs
- Implement therapeutic activities and exercises to improve clients' functional abilities
- Educate clients and their families on strategies to enhance independence and optimize daily activities
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for clients
- Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of client evaluations and treatment sessions
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with clients of all ages and abilities
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in a healthcare setting preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education
