Job Title: Speech Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our team and provide comprehensive speech therapy services to patients of all ages. The ideal candidate will have expertise in diagnosing and treating speech disorders, as well as conducting evaluations and developing treatment plans to improve communication skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct evaluations to assess the speech and language abilities of patients.
- Develop individualized treatment plans to address communication disorders.
- Provide therapy sessions to improve speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Educate patients and their families on techniques for improving communication skills.
- Maintain detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- ASHA certification and state licensure as a Speech Therapist.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience working with patients of all ages and diverse backgrounds.
- Knowledge of current research and best practices in speech therapy.
