Job title: Occupational Therapist
Job Summary:
As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for helping patients develop or recover the skills needed for daily living and working through therapeutic activities. You will work with individuals of all ages who are experiencing physical, mental, developmental, or emotional challenges.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Conduct patient assessments to determine their needs and goals.
2. Create individualized treatment plans to help clients improve their daily living skills.
3. Use various therapeutic techniques to help clients regain independence and improve quality of life.
4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for clients.
5. Monitor and track progress of clients and adjust treatment plans as needed.
6. Educate clients and their families on techniques for achieving optimal function in daily activities.
7. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatment sessions and progress reports.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
2. State licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
5. Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
