Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide rehabilitation services to patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of human anatomy, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping others improve their physical well-being.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist Physical Therapist in creating and implementing treatment plans
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities
- Monitor and record patient progress
- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques and exercises
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area
- Communicate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- CPR certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and empathetic demeanor
- Physical stamina to assist patients with mobility and exercises
