Job Summary:
As a Radiation Therapist, you will be responsible for administering radiation therapy treatments to patients with cancer and other diseases. Your role will involve operating machines to deliver precise doses of radiation, monitoring patients during treatments, and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients throughout the process.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Administer radiation therapy treatments according to prescribed guidelines and treatment plans
- Monitor patients during treatments and make adjustments as necessary
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients
- Maintain accurate records of treatments and patient progress
- Educate patients on the treatment process and potential side effects

Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy
- ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy
- State licensure as a Radiation Therapist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Compassion and empathy for patients undergoing treatment
