Job title: Physical Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with physical disabilities or injuries to improve their mobility and alleviate pain. The Physical Therapist will work closely with patients to create personalized treatment plans and integrate various therapeutic exercises to help them achieve their maximum potential.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Conduct initial evaluations of patients' physical conditions and medical histories.
2. Develop personalized treatment plans for each patient based on their individual needs and goals.
3. Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other interventions to improve patients' range of motion, strength, and function.
4. Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
5. Educate patients and their families on proper exercises and techniques to continue their rehabilitation at home.
6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive care for patients.
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Doctorate or master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of physical therapy techniques and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- CPR certification.
- Previous experience working with patients in a healthcare setting is preferred.
