Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant
Job Summary:
Our healthcare facility is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. The Physical Therapy Assistant will work under the supervision of licensed physical therapists to help patients recover from injuries and improve their overall physical well-being.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients
- Provide hands-on therapy to patients, including exercises and stretches
- Monitor and record patient progress during therapy sessions
- Educate patients on proper techniques for performing exercises at home
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistance
- Current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Experience working in a healthcare setting is preferred
