Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will work with patients to help them develop, recover, improve, and maintain the skills needed for daily living and working.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional conditions
- Develop individualized treatment plans to help patients achieve their goals
- Provide hands-on therapy to help patients improve their ability to perform daily tasks
- Educate patients and their families on techniques to improve functioning
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- State licensure/certification as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience working with patients in a healthcare setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of relevant therapy techniques and equipment
