Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Respiratory Therapist to join our team and provide specialized care to pediatric patients with respiratory conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric respiratory therapy and a passion for working with children.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing and treating pediatric patients with respiratory disorders
- Developing individualized treatment plans for each patient
- Administering medications and therapies as prescribed by physicians
- Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Educating patients and their families on respiratory care techniques
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric respiratory therapy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
