Job Title: Speech Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech Therapist to join our team. The Speech Therapist will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with speech, language, and communication disorders. This individual will work closely with patients to develop personalized treatment plans and provide ongoing support to help them improve their communication skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Evaluate patients to assess their speech and language abilities
- Create tailored treatment plans to address each patient's individual needs
- Provide therapy sessions to help patients improve their speech and language skills
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Keep detailed records of patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and their families on techniques to improve communication skills
- Stay current on the latest research and developments in the field of speech therapy
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience working with individuals of all ages and backgrounds
