Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide rehabilitation services to patients with physical injuries or disabilities. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and a passion for helping others achieve their rehabilitation goals.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist the physical therapist in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients
- Monitor patients during therapy sessions and provide feedback to the physical therapist
- Instruct patients on exercises and activities to improve mobility and strength
- Document patient progress and communicate with the physical therapist on a regular basis
- Maintain a clean and organized therapy area
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients throughout their rehabilitation process
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- CPR certification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Compassionate and patient-centric approach to care
