Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team and help improve our clients' overall quality of life through the therapeutic use of everyday activities. The ideal candidate will work with patients of all ages who have physical, mental, developmental, or emotional disabilities to help them develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conducting assessments to determine clients' needs and goals
- Developing individualized treatment plans
- Providing therapeutic interventions to improve clients' functional abilities
- Educating clients and their families on adaptive techniques and equipment
- Monitoring clients' progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid state licensure to practice as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience working with clients with diverse needs and backgrounds
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Continuing education to stay current with best practices in Occupational Therapy
