Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The Occupational Therapist will work with patients to improve their ability to perform daily tasks and activities, through the use of therapeutic interventions. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals in need of rehabilitation services.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine patients' limitations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic activities to improve patients' motor skills, coordination, and activities of daily living
- Provide adaptive equipment recommendations and training to maximize patient independence
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Document patient progress and communicate with physicians and other team members as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively assess and treat patients of all ages and conditions
- Experience working in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting is preferred
