Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to help patients regain mobility and manage pain. This role plays a critical part in the rehabilitation process and requires strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assisting in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients
- Administering therapeutic exercises and modalities as directed by the physical therapist
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress
- Educating patients on exercises and techniques for at-home care
- Assisting with patient transfers and positioning during therapy sessions
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Knowledge of physical therapy principles and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
