Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. The Physical Therapy Assistant will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients recover from injuries, improve mobility, and manage chronic pain. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping others achieve their physical therapy goals.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist Physical Therapists with patient evaluations and treatment plans
- Educate patients on specific exercises and techniques to improve strength and mobility
- Monitor and record patient progress during therapy sessions
- Administer therapeutic modalities, such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation
- Maintain clean and organized treatment areas
- Communicate with patients and their families to address any concerns or questions
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Certification or licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of practice
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology
