Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team and help improve the quality of life for our patients. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with individuals who are recovering from injuries, disabilities, or illnesses to help them develop or regain the skills needed for daily living and working.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, psychological, and emotional strengths and weaknesses.
2. Develop treatment plans based on patients' individual needs and goals.
3. Implement therapeutic activities to improve patients' motor skills, coordination, and independence.
4. Provide education and support to patients and their families on adaptive equipment and strategies for daily living.
5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
6. Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
7. Stay current on best practices and advancements in occupational therapy.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy.
2. State licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Compassion and empathy for patients.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
7. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
