Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team. The Physical Therapy Assistant will work closely with the Physical Therapist to provide high-quality care to patients in need of physical therapy services. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitation techniques, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist the Physical Therapist in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients
- Perform therapeutic exercises and modalities under the direction of the Physical Therapist
- Document patient progress and communicate with healthcare team members
- Educate and instruct patients on proper techniques for exercises and activities
- Assist with maintaining a clean and organized therapy space
- Adhere to all legal and ethical standards of practice
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Current certification and licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitation techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
