Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. The Physical Therapy Assistant will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide rehabilitative services to patients with various physical limitations. Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist in the implementation of treatment plans as directed by the Physical Therapist
- Provide hands-on therapy to patients, including exercises, stretches, and manual therapy techniques
- Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions
- Educate patients on proper exercises and techniques to improve their physical strength and mobility
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting or related field
- Current certification or licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation techniques
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
