Job Title: Speech Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our team. The Speech Therapist will be responsible for providing assessment and treatment to individuals of all ages who have difficulties with communication, speech, and swallowing. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of speech disorders, and a passion for helping others improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy sessions to improve speech and language skills
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Educate patients and their families on communication strategies and techniques
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Experience working with a diverse population of patients
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
