Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for helping patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life through various occupational therapy techniques. This role involves working closely with patients to develop individualized treatment plans and facilitate their recovery process.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct evaluations to assess patients' physical, mental, and emotional condition
- Develop treatment plans that address patients' specific needs and goals
- Implement therapy sessions to improve patients' motor skills, coordination, and daily living activities
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and their families on techniques for managing their conditions outside of therapy sessions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience working in a healthcare setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with patients of all ages and backgrounds
