Job Title: Speech Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech Therapist to join our team. The Speech Therapist will work with individuals of all ages who have speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. They will assess clients' needs, develop treatment plans, and provide therapy to help improve communication skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Conduct assessments to evaluate clients' speech, language, and communication abilities.
2. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
3. Provide therapy to clients to improve speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
4. Monitor and evaluate clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, educators, and family members to provide comprehensive care.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of clients' progress and treatment.
7. Stay current on research and best practices in speech therapy.
8. Educate clients and their families on techniques to improve communication skills.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
2. State licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
3. Clinical experience working with individuals with speech, language, and communication disorders.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work effectively with individuals of all ages.
6. Knowledge of assessment tools and therapeutic techniques.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
