Job Title: Speech Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our team. The Speech Therapist will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating individuals with speech, language, and communication disorders. They will work to improve their clients' ability to communicate effectively and confidently in various settings.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Evaluate and diagnose communication disorders in clients of all ages
- Develop individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, and communication issues
- Implement therapy sessions to improve clients' speech and language skills
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for clients
- Educate clients and their families on techniques to improve communication skills
- Keep detailed records of clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with clients of all ages and backgrounds
- Knowledge of speech therapy techniques and practices
