Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The Occupational Therapist will work with patients to help them perform daily activities and improve their quality of life. This individual will provide specialized therapy to clients with physical, mental, or emotional challenges, helping them regain independence and achieve their personal goals.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Evaluate patients' physical, mental, and emotional capabilities
- Develop personalized treatment plans to address individual needs
- Provide hands-on therapy and guidance to help patients improve motor skills and coordination
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and their families on techniques for improving daily living skills
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Stay current on industry trends and advancements in occupational therapy
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid license to practice as an Occupational Therapist
- Prior experience working with a diverse patient population
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassion and empathy for patients facing physical or mental challenges
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing occupational therapy practice
