Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The Occupational Therapist will work with individuals of all ages to help them regain independence in their daily activities and improve their quality of life. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of human anatomy, physical rehabilitation techniques, and therapeutic interventions.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Evaluate patients' physical and mental abilities
- Develop customized treatment plans to help patients achieve their goals
- Assist patients in regaining strength, mobility, and functionality
- Teach patients how to use adaptive equipment and make modifications to their environment
- Document patients' progress and communicate with other healthcare professionals
- Stay up-to-date on new developments and techniques in occupational therapy
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients and their families
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- State license to practice as an Occupational Therapist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare regulations
