Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team and provide personalized therapy services to patients with physical, mental, or developmental impairments. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for helping others improve their quality of life through meaningful activities and therapeutic interventions.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' functional abilities
- Develop individualized treatment plans to help patients achieve their therapy goals
- Implement therapeutic activities and exercises to improve patients' physical and cognitive skills
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for patients
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on adaptive techniques and equipment
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans
- Stay current on best practices and developments in occupational therapy
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist
- Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
- 2+ years of experience working as an Occupational Therapist in a healthcare setting
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to therapy
