**Job Title:** Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team and help provide high-quality therapy services to our clients. The COTA will work closely with occupational therapists to develop treatment plans, implement therapy techniques, and monitor progress. This position plays a crucial role in helping individuals improve their ability to perform daily tasks and achieve their maximum level of independence.
**Responsibilities and Duties:**
1. Assist occupational therapists in evaluating clients' physical, mental, and emotional abilities
2. Develop and implement treatment plans based on clients' individual needs
3. Guide clients through therapeutic activities and exercises to improve functional abilities
4. Monitor and document clients' progress during therapy sessions
5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients
6. Educate clients and their families on techniques to improve daily living skills
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all therapy sessions
**Qualifications and Skills:**
1. Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
2. Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
4. Ability to work effectively in a team environment
5. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
6. Compassionate and empathetic approach to client care
