Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Job Summary:
As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with patients to help them improve their ability to perform daily living and work activities by utilizing therapeutic activities and techniques. You will assess the individual needs of patients and develop personalized treatment plans to address their physical, mental, and emotional challenges.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Evaluate patients' abilities, strengths, and limitations to develop treatment plans
- Help patients improve skills for daily living activities, work tasks, and recreational pursuits
- Provide therapeutic interventions to promote independence and enhance quality of life
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, caregivers, and community resources to support patient care
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Stay current on advancements in occupational therapy and best practices
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- State licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to assess and analyze patient needs
- Experience working with diverse populations and age groups
- Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and techniques
