Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant
Job Summary:
As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work under the supervision of licensed physical therapists to provide treatment to patients with physical disabilities or injuries. Your main goal will be to assist in the rehabilitation process and help patients improve their mobility and manage pain.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients
- Help patients with therapeutic exercises and activities
- Monitor patients' progress and report to physical therapists
- Educate patients on proper techniques for exercise and activities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Valid state license or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
