Job Title: Physical Therapist
Job Summary:
As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for helping patients recover from injuries and illnesses by providing hands-on therapy, exercises, and other treatments. You will work closely with patients to develop personalized treatment plans to improve movement, reduce pain, and increase overall function.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Conduct assessments to determine patients' physical limitations and develop treatment plans
2. Implement physical therapy techniques to improve strength, flexibility, and range of motion
3. Educate patients on exercises and stretches to continue treatment at home
4. Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
6. Maintain detailed patient records
7. Stay current on advances in physical therapy techniques and treatments
8. Provide guidance and support to patients and their families throughout the recovery process
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy
2. State licensure and certification as a Physical Therapist
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
5. Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
6. Physical stamina and dexterity to perform hands-on therapy
7. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology
8. Compassion and empathy for patients dealing with pain and limited mobility
