Job Title: COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. As a COTA, you will work under the direction of an Occupational Therapist to provide therapy services to patients in order to help them regain independence in their daily activities.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Collaborate with Occupational Therapist to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
2. Assist patients with exercises and activities to improve motor skills and coordination.
3. Monitor and record patient progress during therapy sessions.
4. Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and exercises.
5. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
2. Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Compassionate and patient-centered approach to patient care.
