Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant
Job Summary:
Our healthcare facility is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of licensed physical therapists to provide hands-on therapy to patients in order to improve mobility and manage pain.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist in implementing treatment plans developed by licensed physical therapists
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities
- Monitor and track patient progress during therapy sessions
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records
- Provide support and encouragement to patients throughout their therapy journey
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Current certification or licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Familiarity with medical terminology and basic anatomy
