Job Title: Speech Therapist
Job Summary:
As a Speech Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with speech and language disorders. You will work with clients of all ages to improve communication skills and help them overcome speech impediments.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conducting assessments to evaluate speech and language disorders
- Developing individualized treatment plans to address clients' speech and language goals
- Providing therapy sessions to enhance clients' communication abilities
- Monitoring clients' progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Educating clients and their families on techniques to improve communication skills
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with individuals of all ages and backgrounds
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in speech therapy
