Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with physical therapists to help patients recover from injuries, surgeries, and manage pain. The Physical Therapy Assistant will assist in developing treatment plans, conducting therapeutic exercises, and providing support to patients throughout their rehabilitation process.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist physical therapists in evaluating and treating patients
- Design and implement individualized exercise programs
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for rehabilitation exercises
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for therapy sessions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program
- State licensure or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to patient care
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology
