Job title: Physical Therapist
Job Summary: As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for helping patients recover from injuries, illnesses, and surgeries through physical therapy treatments. You will assess patients' conditions, develop treatment plans, and provide hands-on therapy to improve their mobility, strength, and overall quality of life.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct initial evaluations to assess patients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to help patients achieve their therapy goals
- Monitor patients' progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and document their outcomes
- Educate patients and their families on exercises, self-care techniques, and injury prevention strategies
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to coordinate patient care
- Stay up-to-date on the latest research and advancements in physical therapy to provide the most effective treatments
Qualifications and Skills:
- Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy
- State licensure as a Physical Therapist
- CPR certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina to perform therapeutic exercises and assist patients as needed
