Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Respiratory Therapist to join our medical team. The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with breathing disorders, administering respiratory treatments, and providing education on respiratory health. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing and evaluating patients with breathing difficulties
- Developing and implementing treatment plans for respiratory conditions
- Administering respiratory treatments, such as oxygen therapy and nebulizer treatments
- Monitoring and recording patient progress
- Educating patients on proper respiratory care techniques
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
- State licensure and certification as required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of respiratory therapy techniques and equipment
