Job Title: Speech Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our team. The Speech Therapist will work with individuals of all ages who have communication disorders, speech delays, or swallowing difficulties. The successful candidate will assess each patient's needs, develop treatment plans, and provide therapy to improve their communication abilities.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate patients' speech and language disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans to address each patient's needs
- Provide therapy to improve speech, language, and swallowing abilities
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and teachers, to develop comprehensive care plans
- Educate patients and their families on communication strategies and exercises to practice at home
- Keep detailed records of patient progress and update treatment plans as needed
- Stay up-to-date on the latest research and techniques in speech therapy
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- State licensure as a Speech Therapist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with individuals with communication disorders, speech delays, or swallowing difficulties
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassion and empathy for patients and their families
