Job Title: Director of Rehab (DOR)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Rehab (DOR) to lead our rehab department and oversee all rehabilitation services. The DOR will be responsible for developing and implementing rehab programs, managing staff, and ensuring high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop and implement rehab programs to meet the needs of patients
- Manage and supervise rehab staff, including therapists and support staff
- Monitor patient progress and outcomes to ensure quality care
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Develop and manage department budget
- Evaluate and purchase equipment and supplies as needed
- Provide leadership and mentorship to staff
- Participate in hiring and training of new staff members
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or related field
- Valid state licensure as a therapist
- Previous experience in a leadership role in a rehabilitation setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage a team and collaborate with other healthcare professionals
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to rehabilitation services
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care
