Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team and provide high-quality therapeutic services to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational therapy, with a focus on improving clients' ability to perform daily tasks and enhance their overall quality of life.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Conduct assessments to evaluate clients' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities.
2. Develop personalized treatment plans based on clients' specific needs and goals.
3. Provide therapeutic interventions to improve clients' motor skills, strength, coordination, and independence.
4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, caregivers, and family members to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
5. Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
6. Educate clients and their families on strategies to improve functional abilities and prevent injury.
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of clients' treatment plans and progress.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in occupational therapy.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in occupational therapy.
