Job Title: Physical Therapist
Job Summary:
A physical therapist is responsible for providing specialized care and treatment to individuals suffering from physical injuries or conditions that affect their ability to move and function properly. They assess the patient's condition, develop customized treatment plans, and work with patients to improve their mobility, alleviate pain, and prevent further injury.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Evaluate patients' physical condition and develop treatment plans in collaboration with physicians.
- Implement treatment strategies that may include exercise, manual therapy, and other techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients on how to prevent injuries and maintain their physical health.
- Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in physical therapy or related field required; Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.
- State licensure/certification as a physical therapist.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitation techniques.
- Experience working with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
